Description/Abstract: Several Pennsylvanians petitioned the Pennsylvania state legislature in favor of the continued use of public funds to support common schools in PA. Howard Rocks, a former TC student and instructor, used this petition to help write his dissertation on the history of education in Pennsylvania. |
