Description/Abstract: Over the past eight years, the school tax bill in the Cleveland Hill School District jumped 45 percent. In Alden, residents saw their school tax bills go up more than one-third. So did people living in the Kenmore-Town of Tonawanda district. As voters head to the polls next month to consider school budget proposals, educators across the state say school expenses have shot up beyond their control in the past few years. In this equation, there's plenty of frustration to go around.
