In recognition of March as Women's History Month, we draw attention to resources that cover women's contributions to education, psychology, and health.
Academic Search Premier is a multi-disciplinary database which provides full text for more than 4,600 journals, including full text for nearly 3,900 peer-reviewed titles. PDF backfiles to 1975 or further are available for well over one hundred journals, and searchable cited references are provided for more than 1,000 titles.
Education Research Complete is a valuable online resource for education research. Topics covered include all levels of education from early childhood to higher education, and all educational specialties, such as multilingual education, health education, and testing. Education Research Complete provides indexing and abstracts for more than 2,100 journals, as well as full text for more than 1,200 journals, and includes full text for nearly 500 books and monographs.
JStor is a scholarly journal archive that provides page images of back issues of the core scholarly journals in the humanities and social sciences from the earliest issues to within a few years of current publication. Users may browse by journal title or discipline, or may search the full-text or citations/abstracts. New issues of existing titles and new titles are added on an ongoing basis. Subject areas include: African American studies, anthropology, Asian studies, ecology, economics, education, feminist studies, film studies, finance, history, health, literature, mathematics, philosophy, political science, population studies, science, Slavic studies, sociology, and statistics.
Professional Development Collection is designed for professional educators and provides a highly specialized collection of nearly 520 high-quality education journals,including more than 350 peer-reviewed titles. This database also contains more than 200 educational reports.
Proquest provides broad multidisciplinary coverage of scholarly journals, newspapers, dissertations, and other types of publications; including dissertations.
Sage Premier includes leading international peer-reviewed journals, with high-impact research titles published on behalf of over 245 scholarly and professional societies. Interdisciplinary coverage spans numerous subject areas: business, humanities, social sciences, and science, technology, medicine and many more, to supporting the needs of various programs.
Wilson Omni File Mega Edition contains a wealth of essential material for learning and detailed research in a single, easily-searched database. With the full text of articles from over 2,500 publications, and indexing and abstracts from nearly 3,600 publications, this database provides invaluable support for research in all core subjects and for cross-disciplinary work.
