Description/Abstract: The Syracuse school district is staring into a $29.4 million hole in the superintendent's proposed 2004-05 budget, and one way to help fill it would be an increase in city property taxes. The district also could receive extra state money as the result of the successful state Campaign for Fiscal Equity lawsuit.
