Description/Abstract: Opening Reception and Guest Talk: Wearable Media, Friday, 10/20, 6:30-8pm

Curious about the ways that science, technology, fashion, and design relate? How a garment can visualize the history of dramatic change in global temperature, or re-interpret asteroids near planet Earth? What creative clothing says about our beliefs, society, world, humanity, and why textiles offer a unique place in teaching and learning, with a view to the future?
