Description/Abstract: September Staff Picks: Award Winning Children's Books to Read Again & Again

This collection features the recent award-winning children's books. The awards are for excellence in writing and illustration, as well as elevating diverse stories. These awards also provide a vast selection of fiction and nonfiction with topics ranging from serious to super silly - a perfect balance for early readers. We hope that exposing the Teachers College community to these texts gives access to a broad span of new and exciting classroom materials. Whether browsing for lesson plans or just for fun, we're sure that there's something here for everyone!
