Description/Abstract: Staff Picks: Sea Creatures
Curated by Library Services Associate Win Scarlett, who considers himself "a jellyfish", Sea Creatures is a display of children's books, curriculum, and other popular works that explore marine life. From Jacques Cousteau, author of The Silent World, to Peter Benchley, Jaws, we are invited to "dive deep" and think about the ocean realm and our place as friends on the planet we share.
Come see some fun and thought provoking favorites! Authors include Jules Verne, Molly Bang, Sir Alister Clavering Harding, Carl Safina, Demi, Dan Yaccarino, Maria Greenwood, Mary Cerullo, and more. They may draw out your dreams of marine biology, and encourage you to free swim, whether on the surface, or in the deep sea of learning and teaching, classroom to beach.
Where: Second Floor Reading Room
