Description/Abstract: Guest Talk: Critical Dialogues and Diverse Perspectives on African Education: Voices from the Community and the Continent, Tuesday, 3/29, 6-8pmThis event will feature a panel of representatives from civil society organizations and NGOs based in Sub-Saharan Africa and those based in Harlem and greater New York. Panelists will share perspectives on education in a variety of African contexts and on opportunities and challenges in providing education to students of African descent, including African immigrant youth and diasporic youth (African American, Caribbean-American, Latino-American).Please rsvp by Friday, March 25th with your details.
