Description/Abstract: Need to research beyond your degree? This workshop will introduce participants to the alumni services program, which includes access to Education Full Text, ERIC, Academic Search, Business Source, and ABI/Research Library. These databases combined offer access to over 11,000 full text journals in a variety of disciplines to support and enhance the work of practicing educators, psychologists, and allied health professionals. Training will also cover content and navigation through PocketKnowledge, the social archive and digital repository of Teachers College. Continuing themes presented in the Academic Festival, Rewiring the Learning Landscape, and leading the alumni services workshop is Eric Grunes, an MLIS graduate and film fanatic who moved from Shreveport, Louisiana to New York City. Eric served as Technologist for Magale Library at Centenary College of Louisiana and Librarian at B'nai Zion Temple Memorial Library, also in Shreveport.
