Description/Abstract: In this session, Professor David Williamson Shaffer from the University of Wisconsin looks at innovative thinking: what makes it unique, and how we can teach it and measure it using computer games. Based on over two decades of research and development, the perspective on learning and assessment presented by Dr. Shaffer is suited to the global economy of the 21st Century and the realities of modern work and education in a knowledge society.
