Christina Kral - EDAR 2009Fabulous Agitation began as a portable art platform for one-day artist residencies. FabAgit, as it came to be called, hosted social and artistic events and interventions to test possibilities for public education. These "agitations," both at the Teachers College campus and throughout New York City, employed mobile event, publishing, and arts spaces to encourage impromptu knowledge exchange. In its installation at the Gottesman Libraries at Teachers College, Fabulous Agitation will display the tools and methods used to incite agitations, as well as video, audio, and booklet documentation of past agitations. The installation, like the agitations before it, will be a space of exchange, exploration, and inspiration. From Fabulous Agitation: "FabAgit believes that a shift in your reality is a shift in perception, a different kind of experience and the opportunity for a glimpse of revelation. Hence, Fablous Agitation!" Website: http://cargocollective.com/fabagit... Created By: EdLab Designer
