The Gottesman Libraries' archival series document major programs supported by the United States Agency for International Development in India, Afghanistan, and Latin America during the 1950s through 1970s. Within this pocket are materials relating to Teachers College involvement in India. The project was directed by J. Paul Leonard who was appointed Professor of Education by Teachers College in 1961.
