History of Education Collection The History of Education Collection is a retrospective monograph collection, consisting of educational treatises and general works in education published from the fifteenth through the nineteenth centuries. As a research collection it is designed to be comprehensive in scope, reflecting five centuries of published educational material. Many of the educators whose works are contained in this collection exercised powerful influences in their own countries and throughout the Western hemisphere. Subject areas include psychology, philosophy of education, and teacher training. In addition to collected works and biographies of major scholars there are pamphlets and lectures by little-known educators. Created By: System Administrator
